About the role

Lead residential construction projects from pre-construction through possession. Manage schedules, trades, site progress, inspections, materials, budgets, and overall construction quality. The key leader ensuring projects move efficiently, stay on schedule, and meet Lexiar's high standards for craftsmanship and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Manage residential construction projects from planning through possession.
Coordinate trades, suppliers, site supervisors, engineers, designers, and internal team members.
Review architectural drawings, engineering plans, specifications, scopes of work, and construction details.
Build, maintain, and update construction schedules with a strong focus on efficiency.
Conduct regular site visits and inspect work at each stage of construction.
Maintain deficiency lists and ensure all issues are completed before client walkthroughs.
Coordinate permits, inspections, drawing revisions, materials, and documentation.
Track project budgets, change orders, costs, and potential financial risks.
Ensure all trade work meets quality, safety, schedule, and documentation expectations.
Maintain project updates, site notes, photos, deficiency logs, and records in BuildXact.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of residential construction project management experience.
Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, codes, inspections, and site coordination.
Experience managing multiple active projects and trade teams.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Close attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
Experience with BuildXact or similar construction management software is strongly preferred.
Valid driver's license required, reliable transportation preferred.
Located in Calgary or within reasonable commuting distance.

Employment: Full time
Compensation: CA$110,000 to CA$120,000 per year

About the role

Support the owner, project administration, bookkeeping, and financial administration for Lexiar's homebuilding business. Keep the back-end operations accurate, organized, and up to date. Detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable with construction-related admin, and able to support the owner and project team with documents, schedules, project expenses, supplier communication, reporting, and inbox/calendar management.

Key responsibilities

Maintain and update project information in BuildXact.
Upload documents, site photos, inspection reports, deficiency lists, and project records.
Book municipal inspections through Calgary Vista as directed.
Communicate with suppliers, trades, architects, engineers, and vendors.
Track supplier quotes, project estimates, outstanding follow-ups, and quote status.
Assist with project expense tracking and budget documentation.
Track invoices, vendor bills, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Coordinate QuickBooks records and support monthly bookkeeping organization.
Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports for ownership.
Support owner inbox management, email sorting, follow-ups, and calendar scheduling.
Organize and maintain digital files, contracts, quotes, reports, and project documentation.
Manage and update Lexiar Homes' social media accounts (posts, content, basic graphics, captions).

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in virtual assistance, office administration, project administration, bookkeeping, or executive support.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Experience with QuickBooks required.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
Experience with BuildXact, Calgary Vista, or construction administration is a strong asset.
Experience supporting construction, trades, real estate, or homebuilding businesses preferred.
Ability to manage confidential financial and business information professionally.
Available to work during Mountain Time business hours.

Compensation: US$8 to US$10 per hour

About the role

Provide high-level virtual administrative and clerical support to managers, teams, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include information management, basic research and analysis, preparation and formatting of correspondence and reports, meeting and conference call coordination, front-office virtual reception, and maintenance of electronic records and filing systems. The ideal candidate is a workflow enabler with a track record of consistent, well-documented administrative products.

Key responsibilities

Manage executive calendars accurately with zero double-bookings.
Respond to internal communications and information requests within agreed SLAs.
Produce correspondence and reports with tight accuracy and formatting standards.
Complete scheduled status reports and data summaries by deadline.
Maintain confidentiality of company records with zero breaches.
Keep electronic filing systems organized with regular audits.
Prepare meeting packs, agendas, and minutes on tight turnarounds.
Coordinate meetings, events, and conference call logistics.
Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, partners, and vendors.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an executive assistant, virtual assistant, or senior administrative support.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills.
Professional discretion with confidential information.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking.
Comfortable working remotely across timezones.
Reliable high-speed internet and a distraction-free workspace.
